All are welcome to “Our Townland: Our History” tonight in Croghan Creamery.
The event is being run as part of Heritage Week and commences at 7pm.
Licking the belly of a lizard was a cure for burns……a prick from the blood of a Walsh is a cure for Shingles… a game called Tosspit and how it was played, ringforts, fields to literally lose yourself in, local curses…. there’s more to Croghan Parish that meets the eye.
Come along tonight and find out more.
