The 19th Infantry Battalion association will unveil a 1916 memorial plaque in Boyle on Sunday 12th November 2017.
The ceremony will take place adjacent to the Garda station and will commence at 12.30.
This is the last of three plaques to be unveiled in the Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon areas covered by the 19th Battalion.
Sunday’s ceremony is organised by members of the association from the former A and E Companys of the 19th.
Light refreshments will be served in St. Joseph’s Hall after the event.
Association members, former members of the Battalion and the general public are cordially invited to attend.
Also on Sunday the annual Mass for deceased members of 19th Infantry Battalion FCA will take place in St. Joseph’s Church at 11.30am
