Roscommon County Council hereby gives notice that the under mentioned road will be closed to public traffic from Monday 10th November 2014 until Friday, 19th December 2014 to facilitate the laying of water mains as part of the North East Roscommon Regional Water Supply Scheme.
Junction of L-60444 and R368 (Lettreen Townland) South to Strokestown Village (Part 1). Closure ends where the R368 meets the L-1405 (Part 2). Closure will be in two sections to accommodate locals.
Diversion: Travelling from Elphin, to Strokestown, commuters should take the L1410 to its junction with the L1405 (Ballygarden). Turn right along the L1405 to its junction with R368.
Travelling from Strokestown to Elphin – the above in reverse.
All necessary approach signage and diversion signage will be used at the required locations as per Traffic Management Plan.
Residents will be contacted and notified directly by the Contractor in advance of the closure. Closures will be phased to ensure minimum disruption to locals. Maps showing proposed closures/diversions are available on www.roscommoncoco.ie
