Another Status Yellow weather warning for this area comes into place tonight.
Met Eireann are advising of heavy rain on Monday night and Tuesday coupled with strong southerly winds. Some river and localised surface flooding is possible. Rainfall totals of 30 to 50mm, higher in mountainous regions.
The warning is valid from 21.00 Monday to 21.00 Tuesday 23th.
The good news is that there is then a signal for high pressure to build northeastwards over Ireland later in the week, bringing more settled conditions and temperatures slightly above average.
