An anticipated strike by the outdoor and engineering staff at Roscommon County Council will not now go ahead following agreement between staff and management at the Labour Relations Committee.
The disagreement resulted from a dispute over the new municipal structures.
SIPTU and LAPO unions voted Monday to accept the proposal put forward by the LRC which will see the establishment of a new change management team.
