Boyle GAA club weekly update

Terry and Fiona Mattimoe, Cathal Moran and Hannah McPadden were €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in the Scanlon’s Bar. The jackpot wasn’t won. It will be €1,100 for the next draw on Saturday Sept 16th which will be held in Creighton’s Bar.

Well done to McGovern Directional Drilling sponsored senior team who qualified for the quarter-final of the senior championship after defeating Padraig Pearses on Saturday evening in Boyle.
They will now play Strokestown in the quarter-final on Sept 16th in Hyde Park at 6pm. Many thanks to all the Club members who worked so hard on Friday evening and Saturday morning to ensure our pitch, grounds and Clubrooms were in ship shape for the Championship matches on Saturday. Much appreciation also to all the members who officiated in so many  different roles on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon to ensure the safety and enjoyment  of everyone who attended the two games.

Congratulations to Donal Smith on his ratification as under 20 manager.
