Boyle GAA weekly club news

There was no winner of this weeks club lotto of €6,600. €20 winners were Emily Hughes, Maeve and Seamus Brennan and Joe & Grainne. Next weeks draw takes place in Creightons’s Bar. Thanks as always to Brogans & Natural Opticians Pharmacies for their sponsorship.

The McGovern Directional Drilling sponsored senior team travelled to Elphin for the second last league game of the year. The game finished in a draw at 1.11 a piece. It was a game that was there for the winning for Boyle but wayward passing and the missing of a penalty ultimately cost them. They now face Roscommon Gaels on Saturday evening in Lisnamult at 5pm.

The Cooney Motors sponsored Junior team had a bye in their quater final of the championship and now face Elphin this Friday evening with the venue TBC.

The club would like to wish player Cian McKeon a speedy recovery on his ankle injury after an operation last week. Congratulations to the same player on making the Eirgrid U 20 team of the year also.
