Last Sunday’s Golfer of the Year was won by Terry Bright with a score of 65, 2nd Gary Carty 66, Gross Jim Mooney, 3rd Paddy McLoughlin 67. Competitions for this week are the Mens 12 Hole on Thursday, 9 Hole Scramble on Friday Next Sunday is the Mens Voucher. Format is three ball max. The King Harmon draw takes place on this Thursday evening April 23rd after the men’s competition. The second round of the foursome’s competition is to be played on or before next Saturday April 26th.
A club fundraiser takes place on the May Bank Holiday (Saturday – Monday). Format is a four ball rumble, Teams €100 including hot meal. Re-entry €10 per person. All support appreciated. Funds will go towards ongoing course maintenance. To start the weekend a quiz and curry nite will take place on the Friday May 1st. Details on noticeboard and on the website.
In Ladies news well done to Sandra McCrann who won the Lucky Strike. Tuesday is an 18 Hole Stableford and a 9 hole qualifier. There is a weekly 9 hole running Monday 20th – Sunday 26th.
