Roscommon cyclist wins Ras jersey

Monaco based Roscommon cyclist Daire Feeley finished 12th overall and took the coveted Irish County Rider title in the An Post Ras which finished in Skerries yesterday (Sunday).

Daire rode as a member of the Glaway based iTap team and completed the eight day event in 26 hours 58 minutes

The 20 year normally rides for the French side Union Cycliste Monaco where he is making a name for himself on the international circuit.

The Union Cycliste de Monaco is the Principality of Monaco cycling’s club since 1952.

It has a membership of more than 200 and the club is divided into a road cycling section, MTB section as well as cyclocross and a cycling academy.
