The annual Boyle GAA Quiz and Presentation took place on Wednesday night 28th December in St. Joseph’s Hall.
56 tables took part in what is always a great Christmas social gathering.
MC was Tony Conboy.
The winners of the quiz were Cian and Michelle Smith with Donie Smith and Laura Martina.
In second place was the O’Connor/Young family while third place went to the O’Donnell/Feely table.
Presentations also took place throughout the course of the night:

U20 Player of the Year – Cian McKeon
Senior Player of the Year – Darren O’Connor
Lady Player of the Year – Suzie Keenehan
Hall of Fame – Mike “Junior” Smith
Club Chairperson Kathleen Hanmore thank everyone for attending and wished well to all club players who are travelling abroad in 2017.
Barry Lowe spoke of a new club initiative that will commence in 2017 aimed at social inclusion and getting former club players involved with Boyle GAA once again.
To commence the initiative, a trip to Croke Park is provisionally set for Friday 3rd March with further details to be announced in the new year.
