LOTTO NEWS

The numbers drawn this week in our online lotto draw were 6, 8, 9, 17. We had two match three winners, Cillian Conboy and Jimmy Dwyer. There was no jackpot winner this week so this means that next weeks jackpot will stand at €6,800. You can purchase tickets online through our Boyle GAA App or in various outlets local.

CAMOGIE

The U16 Girls will play Oran on the 20th of August at 7pm in Rockfield. The U12 Cheetahs are up against Four Roads on the 21st of August at 7pm in the Abbey Park.

LGFA

Our U14 Division 1 girls play their third round game on the 19th of August at 8.15pm against Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult. The U14 Division 4 girls play their third round game against St Brigids on the 20th of August at 7pm in Kiltoom.

The U19 Division 3 girls will play the Division Semi Final on the 19th of August at 7pm against Michael Glaveys in the College Field, Boyle.

UNDERAGE FOOTBALL

The U14B team will be up against St Ciarans on the 19th of August at 7pm in the Abbey Park whilst the U14A boys will line out against Clann na nGael on the 21st of August at 7pm in Johnstown.

SENIOR FOOTBALL

The McGovern Civils sponsored Senior Team had a great win over Castlerea at the weekend in the Hodson Bay Senior Championship with a final score of 3-19 to 1-9. Their next game will see them play Oran on the 30th of August at 6.30pm in Ballinameen.

The Cooney Motors sponsored Junior Team also came away with a win over St Josephs at the weekend in the King & Moffatt Junior A Championship with a full time score of 1-18 to 2-11. Their next game will be against St Croans on the 31st of August at 12.30pm in Peadar Earley Memorial Park in Ballinlough.

OTHER NEWS

We want to wish the very best of luck to our Senior Ladies Goalkeeper Ruth Johnson as she prepares to depart for the International Defence Rugby World Cup which takes place in the UK over the coming weeks. Her teammates will miss her but we know that Ruth will do her Club and her country proud.
