A large scale man hunt is underway in Co Leitrim Thursday following an armed robbery at Mohill Post Office.
Two masked raiders carrying what is believed to be a firearm and a hatchet stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the post office.
It is believed they made their getaway in a red coloured car.
Anyone who may have been in the Glebe St area of Mohill between 9am and 9.45am this morning and who may have noticed the red car or have information on the robbery should contact Carrick-on-Shannon Gardai on (071) 9620021.
