Gardaí have made a number of arrests in Athlone in connection with the supply and sale of drugs in the town.
It is understood nine people, six men and three women will appear before Athlone District Court on Wednesday following the investigation.
The arrests were made during the joint operation by Athlone Gardai and the Garda Drugs Unit.
