Gardai have confirmed that a body has been recovered from the River Shannon in Carrick on Shannon on Wednesday evening.
No formal identification has taken place on the body which was removed to Sligo University Hospital.
A search has been ongoing for Janus Jacsicki who has been missing since September 30th after attending an event in the Leitrim town
