The next lotto draw will take place in Dalys on the 21st and the jackpot will be €5,500

Senior Football:In a classic game of two halves, the McGovern Directional senior team eked out a three point win over St Brigids in the senior league on Friday evening in Kiltoom.  Trailing by eight points at the interval, the team showed great heart ,team spirit and resilience in the second half. As the light faded over Lough Ree, some inspired substitutions, a brave penalty save and  fine scores highlighted the team’s strength of character despite having had no competitive football for six weeks. Well done lads.

Junior Football:
The rescheduled game for the Cooney Motors Junior team last Wednesday against St Aidan’s fell foul of a late cancellation.

It is unfortunate that the team has had little game time of late and it is hoped that the remaining fixtures will be played as soon as possible.

Underage football : There were no games last week.

This weeks fixtures:
The National Automation Minor team play Western Gaels in Abbey Park on the 19th. The James Lannon Tyres under 16 team play St Brigid at 12 pm on the 22nd in Kiltoom.

Ladies Football: Commiserations to Boyle footballers Aine Mullins and Sinead Glennon and their  Roscommon teammates who lost out to Kildare in the All – Ireland Final.

Well done to the u8s and u 10s who played Eire Og on Friday.

The u 14 Championship commences on Monday in Abbey Park at 7 30 pm in a game against St Croans. Please come along and support these young players.

Off the ball:  Congratulations to Club P.R.O Cathal Horan and his bride Siobhan on their recent marriage.  They are wished all the very best in their life together.
