CAPTAINS PRIZE – Well done to Killian Cox who was the winner of this years Captains Prize to the men. The days golf took place in very challenging weather conditions leading to the score needed to qualify for the 9 hole playoff being much higher than in previous years. Killian had a great score of 66 nett on his first 18 and helped his nerve in the 9 hole play off despite a strong challenge from Keith Dowling. The presentation of prizes took place shortly after the conclusion of the play off, Captain Shane O’Dowd congratulated all the prize winners and thanked those who had contributed to the success of the day and to the running of the club through the year.
