Rescue teams are resuming their search this morning for an Athlone based soldier who’s missing off the Donegal coast.
The Malin Head Coastguard is co-ordinating the search for the man, who’s understood to be a Mullingar native, that got into trouble while swimming at Tullan Strand in Bundoran yesterday evening.
Three soldiers got into difficulty just after 6pm but two were rescued.
The soldiers were attending a training course at Finner Camp in Bundoran at the time, but the missing man is based at Custume Barracks in Athlone
