‘Good Samaritan’ sought following Boyle RTC

A call has gone out to identify a good samaritan who assisted at a road traffic collision on the N4 outside Boyle last December.

The RTC took place at a junction at Erris on the N4 on the afternoon of Wednesday December 16th.

A listener to Sligo based radio station Ocean FM is now trying to track down a woman who came to his aid after the accident.

According to the station “The woman tended to the man, who was seriously injured in the accident – all he remembers is that the woman was a driving a red car, and that she said her daughter was a nurse, and that she brought him some holy water during his ordeal”.

If you can help or are the person who assisted on the day, please contact the North West Today show on 071-9118104, as the man involved would like to thank the woman in person.
