Major job losses have been announced at a Sligo based company.
Elanco Animal Health, based in Finisklin Industrial Park informed staff of the shock news of between 60 to 70 jobs at a meeting at lunchtime today.
The company says the move is as a result of a restructuring effort planned for the vaccine manufacturing facility in Sligo.
A 30 day period of consultation has started with staff to help them understand the changes and examine options available to them.
