New location for Roscommon vaccination clinic

The Roscommon vaccination centre is moving from the Kilbride Community Centre to a new vaccination centre in Roscommon Town this week.

The new vaccination centre is based on the Golf Links Road, Roscommon, F42 YX65. The location will be signposted from the approach roads.

The first vaccine clinic will take place in the new centre today, Friday 17th December.

The Roscommon Vaccination Centre will continue to provide first and second dose vaccines, along with the rollout of the booster vaccine programme to eligible cohorts. Information on who is currently being offered booster vaccines is available on hse.ie.

Anyone aged 12 and older who hasn’t yet received their vaccine, can still register to get their vaccine by going to hse.ie and clicking on the ‘register’ link.

People who received their first dose vaccine in the vaccination centre in Kilbride Community Centre and are due a second dose, will automatically receive a text message advising them to go to the new centre in Roscommon Town for their second dose vaccine. People are advised to read their vaccine appointment text messages carefully to make sure that they know where their vaccine appointment will take place.

The Roscommon Vaccination Centre on the Golf Links Road will be holding walk-in booster vaccination clinics at specific times this weekend for people aged 50 to 59 and people aged 60 to 69 who have reached an interval of at least 90 days since their second dose vaccine or single dose Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine.
