Roscommon senior footballers start the 2017 competitive season this Sunday in the Abbey Park in Boyle.
They take on Sligo IT in the opening round of the Connacht FBD League with a 2pm throw in.
Roscommon lost out to Kildare in a challenge game on Monday last on a scoreline of 1-16 to 1-13.
Boyle club men Donie and Enda Smith were on the score sheet in the Kiltoom game with Enda scoring a fine goal.
It is hoped both Donie and Enda along with a number of existing and new players will be among the starting fifteen
Roscommon’s next outing after the Boyle game will be against NUI Galway in Ballyforan on January 15th with Mayo beckoning in Kiltoom on January 22nd.
