Unfortunately the annual Boyle Darkness into Light 2020 walk has been cancelled this May.
However the organisers would like to lift the spirits of the community during the darkness of the Covid crisis and let hope shine bright.
“Do you like to look out the window while as you cocoon? love evening walks? or perhaps you are a front line worker and you only come home from work at night”?
“We would hope that the shining lights on the quiet streets would lift your spirits”.
“We encourage you all to light up your gardens, window or porches with a simple battery operated tea light, fairy lights or solar panelled lanterns”.
“Looking out most windows we see no activity or people, however with this simple initiative we would bring light and hope to ourselves and the people around us”.
