Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Thunderstorm warning for County Roscommon, Sligo, Mayo, Galway and all of Munster.
Thundery outbreaks of rain with possible lightning and localised flooding, from Saturday night at 9pm to 2am Sunday 31st.
Becoming cloudy and windy early tonight with showery outbreaks of rain extending to all parts. They will turn heavy at times with a chance of isolated thunderstorms and the risk of localised flooding, before clearing east by morning. Lowest temperatures 5 to 8 degrees with moderate southerly breezes increasing fresh to strong and gusty, with gales at times along the coast, but moderating as the rain clears.
There will be scattered showers mixed with bright spells on Sunday morning. However, more widespread blustery showers or longer spells of rain will return through the late morning and afternoon. The wet and windy conditions will extend across the province through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees.
