Bridge repair work commences

Work has commenced on repairing the damaged Boyle Bridge.

Local company Feelystone, who are sub contractors on the project, have started preparatory work on the iconic structure.

It is hoped to have the bridge and new footpath completed by mid November.

The bridge was badly damaged in a road traffic accident last July and has remained taped off since then.

The main contractor for the project is Jons Civil Engineering company from Duleek in Co. Meath

Feelystone are a sub-contractors employed by Jons Civil to carry out stone repairs and rebuilding elements of the bridge.
