Roscommon County Council say they are dealing with “15 incidents of fallen trees or blocked roads across the county” on Tuesday morning.
ESB crews are also dealing with power outages in local areas including Mount Dillon and Carrick on Shannon.
Sligo County Council request motorists to remain vigilant as there could still be problems on some local roads where debris and branches are not yet removed.
Passengers travelling on flights from Ireland West Airport on Tuesday 17th October are advised that the airport will be open and operating as normal.
