Boyle looked to be heading into half-time with a two-point lead, however Shannon Gaels scored two quick fire goals leaving the margin at four at the interval. In what an intense encounter, Boyle’s strong running was the hallmark for a much-improved second half performance. Aisling Feely, Aimee Roddy and captain Suzie Keenehan all scored brilliant points for Vinny Flanagan’s side. Shannon Gaels kept plugging away to their credit but points from Feely and Grace Flanagan secured the victory and a place in the league final on May 22nd.
