Boyle Scor participants wanted

Boyle GAA Club is looking for talented members to take part in Scór Sinsir – whether as solo performers or as part of a group.

Scór is the GAA’s competition which supports the traditional aspects of Irish culture through music, drama and dance, promoting participation, enjoyment and inclusion at all levels within the Club.

Boyle GAA Club would like to hear from members who might be interested in representing their club in one of the following events:

Solo Singing

Solor Recitation

Ballad Group (3-5 people)

Drama (2-8 people)

Traditional Instrumental Music (3-5 people)

Set Dancing (4-8 people)

Céilí Dancing (4-8 people)

The minimum age is 17 and there is no upper limit!

Boyle entrants would need to commit to the County Final on Saturday 3rd March in Kilbride and possibly the All Ireland Final on 14th April in Sligo.

There will also be a Table Quiz competition and we are looking for two teams of 4 people to represent Boyle GAA on Friday 9th March in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon, with the All Ireland Final on 14th April in Sligo.
