The R280 Carrick on Shannon to Leitrim Village road will reopen later Friday following a serious road traffic collision on Thursday evening.
The incident involved a truck and a motor cycle at Cartown resulting in the female motorcyclist being brought to Sligo University Hospital with head injuries.
Local diversions were put in place shortly after 6pm via Kiltoghert and Castlecarra,
