RESULTS – Well done to Keith Dowling who was presented with his trophy recently as the “Golfer of the Year” for 2025. Keith had a great years golf with his handicap dropping by 10 shots during the season. Noel McKenna alors received the Bart Moran Cup at the same presentation.

21/9/25 – 1st Michael Simon 34 points, Mark Whelan 33, 3rd Pat Conroy 32.
OCTOBER BETTERBALL COMPETITION
Round 1 3rd October -10th October, Round 2 11th October- 17th October, Round 3 18th October – 24th October.
Two best scores from the three rounds counts for the overall total. The top two teams play-off in the final but in the event of a tie the best third card will count. The format of the competition will be four ball better ball, opposites are preferred but if needs be you can play in a two ball. It is permitted play on more than one team. The entry fee will be €10 per week.
MENS CAPTAINS OUTING – This years outing will be to Galway Bay Golf Club on Saturday 18th October, and Tuam Golf Club on Sunday 19th. Accommodation is available in The Maldron Hotel, Oranmore ( to be arranged individually by those staying over). Please indicate your intentions in the WhatsApp poll.
