Boyle Primary Care opening ‘shortly’

Senator Frank Feighan has been informed by the HSE that the opening date for the new Boyle Primary Care Centre will be confirmed shortly.

“I am disappointed with the delays and that the HSE’s timelines have not been met but I look forward to the opening of this new facility in the near future.

“The HSE has informed that the centre was handed over on Tuesday, November 7th. The HSE says the delay in the handover was because construction over-ran and the certification process for the building took longer than anticipated.

“I understand that the Dental and Ophthalmology equipment for the facility is currently being commissioned and training is being organised for staff on systems within the buildings, including Fire Safety training.

“The HSE has outlined to me that a date for opening will be set shortly and I will continue to keep the pressure to ensure this state-of-the-art Primary Care Centre will be open to the public as soon as possible,

“It is important to remember again that this state-of-the-art health centre is a very positive development for the town of Boyle and the wider North Roscommon region.”
